Installed TB on a new computer and am now having a problem using it
with Chrome as a browser. With Chrome as my default browser, clicking
on a link in an email on TB opens to a blank page unless Chrome is
already open in the background. If Chrome is already open there is no
problem.

If I use Firefox as my default browser, email links work perfectly
whether Firefox is open or not. (I haven't tried it with IE.)

This sounds like it might be a Chrome problem and not TB, but I can't
find any references to this particular kind of blank page problem in a
Google search.

I had been running TB version 4.22.44.2 on my old computer and that's
what I installed on my new machine, restoring all my old settings from
a TB backup. The problem wasn't there on the old PC (also running Win
7). I upgraded The Bat! to ver. 5.4, thinking that might cure things,
but it didn't.

Any ideas on what to look for? I suppose I could just go back to
using Firefox, but that's kind of a cop-out -- and I really prefer
Chrome these days.
