Hello,
I have used Agent up until January, when we switched to the Bat! and
have found one missing feature that I'm trying to solve. In Agent,
you could specify that a message is marked read after being replied
to. I like to make sure that every email is replied to before
moving on to the next message. Considering the volume of email I
receive, this is no easy task without using the flagging. Right
now, in the bat, I have to always use the View|Display|Advanced
Filtering and specify to only view those messages not-replied and
unread. I have to do both, because sometimes there is no need to
reply to a message, so I just manually mark it read (as I have the
auto-marking read set to 9999 so that I don't accidentally mark
something read). I often have to look at all messages, and use the
Ctrl = key shortcut to do so, but then when switching back, I have
to go back to the advanced filters (which has no hotkey), and
reselect both options again- this gets tedious all day long. In any case, I'd love
some option for marking a
message read automatically when I reply, and was wondering if anyone
had any tricks or ways to make this process easier for me. Thanks
