I recently wanted to search for all 'Flagged' msgs in an account
comprising about 30 folders. I entered F7 and selected "Current Account"
and "Message is Flagged" on the 'Advanced' Tab. My initial search showed
nothing. However I KNEW I had some flagged msgs. I looked further and
tried ".*" as the search string and set "Regular Expressions". Ah ha,
there were my msgs.

I'm not telling you this to be praised for my brilliance (!?) but rather
because, as an enthusiastic user of "The Bat!", I feel it needs more
"Ease of Use".

I think TB! is one of the best products I have seen. I want it to
succeed commercially for its developers. I am a programmer and
reasonably competent at using general purpose PC tools such as e-mail.
I'd like to pose the following questions followed by my opinion on
each:-

1. Would the PC average user like to flag a msg and then search for all
such msgs? Yes.

2. Does the PC average user know the term "Regular Expressions", let
alone know how to use them? No.

3. Is searching for flagged msgs explained in the help file? No.

Please don't shoot me down for being critical. I hope this msg will be
seen as constructive criticism. I want to see TB! become hugely
successful in as wide a market as possible. I simply think there are
many fine features of TB! that could be "easier to use" and/or "better
explained in the help" for the average user.
