Hello TBUD Listers, I just upgraded(?) my desktop to Windows 10. The upgrade went smoothly with no apparent hiccups. However, I notice now that whenever I click the red X to close TB!, I see the progress bars closing the various open folders but then I get this message:
Cannot open file: "C:\Program Files(x86)\The Bat!\jackADDRBOOK.INI" Access is denied. This happens also if I open the AB and make any change to any entry. I can't close the AB and save any changes I might have made. I checked the properties of the jackADDRBOOK.INI file and it is NOT read-only or hidden. If I double-click on it, it opens in Notepad but if I try to change anything and save the changes, I get a message from Notepad saying ACCESS IS DENIED. If I temporarily rename the file, TB! won't open, giving me the original message above. Renaming it back to what it was then allows TB! to open but of course, I can't close TB! without getting the original message above. Stumped once again. -- TIA, Jack LaRosa :usflag: Central Alabama Using The Bat! ver: 5.2.2.
