There shouldnt be (as far as I know) a direct contact between Bat and
modem. It used the windows dailer... Now if you used Winfax, it has
its own dialer and that caused me problems last week as in windows I
specified the ATX3 to get out and winfax still said no dial tone.
After finding in V10 the setting to use windows dialing, it worked..
On the other hand I have at present a silly problem that logged on to
ONE isp I can send mail while logged onto the other one I cannot and
BOTH ip ranges are in my smtp on my server in the USA...
