| I am on a committee of about 90 people. I wanted to send an email to everyone in the group without everyone's e-mail address displaying in the "to" field when the message is received by the group members. I created an address book and put everyone's e-mail address in the address book. I then put the name of the address book in the "to" field. The word "list" appeared at the end, in parenthesis. I expected that that is how it would show up when received by the recipient. My name was also in the list so I could see how the e-mail was received. So, my copy had each and every one of the 90 e-mail addresses in the "to" field!!! What did I do wrong? What can I do to ensure that the only the group name appears in the "to" field? |
You can just use BCC instead of the To: field for the list. You may still have to put your address in the To: field though.
