Hello Gary,
The problem you and others are experiencing is not with the BAT but
with your mail server, some mail servers do not like you checking for
mail too often, my mail server is OK with a 10 min. interval, if I set
it up to check for mail at 3 min intervals is is OK the first time,
the second time I get a could not connect to server, then the next
time I get prompted for password again...
e.g. Your password is only saved following a successful connection.
