So far I've only done freeware for myself and some close
friends, so they don't have any right to complain. :-) I got
your point, though. I agree it would be much better if there is
a version history accompanying each beta release. But, hey,
it's beta and no one says beta-releases have to be done in a
certain way. RIT does maintain a What's New page for
official releases, and you're free to skip betas if you're
uncomfortable with no-document, no-guarantee software.

Let me stress one more time, though, that I agree and I wish
there would be a what's new document for betas.

I can't agree more for this. Documentation for TB! could use a
lot of improvement. The fact that TB! is very powerful and has
lots of "hidden" features makes it worse.

That being said, I guess Stefan or RIT isn't unaware of it,
given loud and frequent complaints here and (I think) privately.
Yet since a major overhaul (version 2) is in sight, I think it's
understandable to defer it till version 2 is done or in public
beta. If it's me, version 1.x would be in maintenance mode right
now, meaning only critical or easy-to-fix bugs get fixed, and only
minor and easy-to-implement features are added. Everything else
would wait for version 2. After all, we're talking about a tiny
company with practically one staff working on TB!, if I'm not
mistaken.
