A couple of days ago another user had the same problem, and it
turned out he was using a Internet security utility called
"ZoneAlarm".  Are you using the same or other similar utility?

If so, the following is quoted from another user (Allie Martin):

Regarding your other question:

You don't need to turn off "Option/HTML Auto View" to "make it
safe against malicious code". TB! does not execute any script in
a HTML message, and it doesn't download anything from the web
even when the HTML code asks it to.  That is, all graphics not
embedded with the message would not be displayed, and no JAVA
applet would be downloaded/executed.

The main purpose of that option, is for people to decide whether
they want to read mail in HTML or plain text by default.  Most
HTML mail comes in two part--a plain text part and a HTML part,
for there're still many email clients that can't display HTML
mail. When TB! receive such mail, it lets you decide which part
you want to read.
