Greetings Arnie!
On Sunday, July 23, 2000 at 15:15:59 GMT -0400 (which was 12:15 PM where you think
I live) [EMAIL PROTECTED] typed:
A> Hello TBUDL,
A> Just registered TB having decided it (with a few limitations) to be a
A> wonderful email client. My question regards triggering actions.
A> Is there anyway to set up TB so that by manually moving a message
A> from the inbox to another folder an action associated with the
A> destination folder is immediately triggered? i.e. I move a message
A> to folder X and that message is immediately replied to using the X
A> folder template and sent.
A> Many of my messages can be filtered, and for those filtering and
A> templates work perfectly, but sometimes a message comes in that the
A> filter can't anticipate.
Check the "'ORDER'" the filters are in. The very last filter can be a
catch all and delete everything, The First filter should be like
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" the last filter is like "FFA" (free for all
links those spammers)
Check your syntax, Like "RIT" and "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Will get
snagged up the same filter, if you don't watch that syntax.
Take your time with your filters, and be especially carefull on the
"killfile" filters, they are especially powerful.
