Hi TBUDL,
we have two members on this list (Alex being one) who have a comma in
their real name. what TB does, it will take the first part, up to the
comma, as one recipient and the rest as a second recipient.
With our recent discussion about default domains, I would like to
suggest that TB does check at least whether a recipient is a valid
email address. What happened last time when I hit reply, is that the
SMTP server added its own domain as default to the first part (before
the comma). Since the message didn't bounce, somebody received my
posting who has no business receiveing my messages.
Therefore, I would like TB to check whether an incompelte address is a
nickname, and if not: either dispaly an error message "not a valid
email address" or allow default domains (but I tend to opt for the
error messsage).
What do you think?
