I am afraid not. Apart from the help file, there is this mailing list,
in which we try to help each others.

To me, The Bat! has the typical Windows look and feel. Maybe we can
try to find the problem when I experience The Bat! from your
viewpoint, once I have downloaded screen-reading software. So far, I
was only aware that pure text can be synthesized into words; I didn't
know that graphics can be translated into audio.

They have a different colour: the header has black text on a grey
background, and the message body's colour is user-configurable. On my
screen, your original text (which is prefixed by "SMS>") is red, and
the new text I am writing is blue. Both on a white background.
I don't know whether this helps you, as you might have different
colour settings.
