Yes, you can.
Select a message and right-click. Go to the menu "Colour groups" and
select "Edit colour groups". As you can see, you can give this new
colour group a unique ID and a name, which ables you to create differerent
"profiles".
When you're finished creating this new colour group, right click the
message you want to highlight again. Then choose: Colour groups ->
Name of the CG you've just created.

Now, this is totally new for me too. :) So I'd like to ask the fellow
list members what this unique ID stands for. Is this, kinda like
Opera's Hot List, something you can enter directly somewhere?
