    Mail User Agent.  The whole mail process is broken into three separate
processes.
MTA - Mail Transport Agent
MDA - Mail Delivery Agent
MUA - Mail User Agent.

    Windows mail clients are mostly MUAs but incorporate functions of both MDA
and MTA.
