I don't believe that's a justifiable claim. It's much on par with saying
that TB!, Outlook, pine, elm, kmail, Eudora and Netscape's email program
are all pretty much the same thing, just done by different programmers.
Although superficially valid, after all they are all email clients, the
difference between TB! and, for example, Outlook is significant. As
significant as the difference between UE and many text editors which
truly are on the same level as notepad.
