Right, one email client does a decent job at IMAP and the other is named

Your comparison isn't the same since the clients you mentioned, for the most
part, offer the same functionality with only subtle differences here and
there. All of which are in the details.
OTOH I saw nothing in UltraEdit that impressed me much beyond a simple
ASCII editor. I found, in the short time it did live on my machine, that it
lacked quite a few features that I consider standard in advance editors. I'm
sure that if I were so inclined I could download it again and find them all
again in short order.
