To my knowledge the 'home brew' list server was abandoned sometimes in
spring 1999 when the list moved (due to the increase in traffic) to
Syafrils server and is using MDaemon as the list server software. I
don't know how MDaemon compares to Listar (if there is anybody willing
to point out the differences, move to tbot, I would be interested)
IIRC the templates/filters for using TB! as a mailserver are still supported by
Leif (see <http://www.pcwize.com/thebat/mailing_lists.shtml>, but only
targeted to lists with less traffic than the TB lists).
