This is a problem that I have never encountered. Yet.

I considered this problem to be solved for the time beeing (removing
%Cursor, or, placing it before %Quotes worked just great), but
yesterday I discovered something that might be of some interest, and I
decided to share it with the list -and this one doesn't make me less
puzzled.
The View menu in the Message Editor has an option that reads: "Store
window position". I have never cared about this one...until now,
because I always run the editor maximized, and therefore, it shouldn't
be necessary for me to check it. If I understand this correctly, the
purpose of having this option checked is to have TB! to open the
editor window in the same position of the screen if you're _not_
running it maximized.
After checking this option, my beloved TB! is back to normal behavior
again !? I can place %Cursor after %Quotes in my reply templates
without any annoying side effects whatsoever. No loss of text. No loss
of scroll bars. Does the "Store window position"-option _has_ to be
checked irrespective of whether you run the editor maximized or not?
Almost all my hair is scratched off my head, so I'm glad this is over
for now.
