Hello Bats!,

I recently "upgraded" my OS from Win95 to Win98 and after having done
so I noticed the "favorites" down-arrow (next to the CREATE A NEW
MESSAGE button) no longer produced a drop-down list of favorite
addresses as it used to. I asked the list about this at that time and
no one had any ideas. Since then I have had to un-install Win98
because of some other problems caused by poor machine preparation on
my part. After Win98 was un-installed, I found that my favorites arrow
worked just as it used to, producing a drop-down list of all those
addresses that were checked as favorites.

Now, having properly prepared the machine, I re-installed Win98 and
once again, the favorites arrow no longer works. If I click on the
arrow, the arrow is depressed and remains so until I click on it
again. At no time will the list of favorites drop down. Checking,
un-checking and re-checking an address book entry makes no difference.

I apologize for asking the question again but I thought perhaps the
additional information regarding the un-install and re-install of
Win98 might make a difference in the list's response. It should be
noted that the problems which caused me to un-install Win98 in the
first place have been eliminated by properly preparing the machine
prior to the re-installation.
