I guess you want to use Ctrl-V and Ctrl-C to move/copy the message
to another folder, right? As others have suggested, in the message
pane (preview pane) or message view window Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V are
reserved for copy and past.

I agree with you that there should be alternative shortcuts for the
functions you want (assuming that's what you want), but I guess this
won't be addressed until v2, which would implement user-definable
shortcuts.
