That shouldn't make any difference. TB doesn't use TABS - it replaces
them with spaces immediately. You can't generate that error from
within TB. It only happens when you receive a message which includes
real TAB characters. TB converts *these* to spaces on receipt before
storing them thus invalidating the signature.
I don't think you can get a real TAB into a TB originated message.
