     Jan's response:

     Philosophically, I find it strange to see a discussion on
     limiting information. While the problems you state may, in
     fact, be so, IMO there are other ways to view the situation.

     I think it is fair to say, for example, that some of us
     casual new users like to learn ways to customize with macros
     & templates otherwise we could just as well use Outlook
     Express or another similar program.

     One  of  the  beauties  of TheBat! seems to be that it can be
     modified  in  a  very  personal & useful ways. The problem is
     that there is no way to understand the complete scope of what
     TheBat! can do & now a completely different upgrade is in the
     works.

     Another  thing  to  consider  is that a manual can be divided
     into  sections  --  a  casual  user  section,  followed by an
     advanced  user  section.  Maybe  the  casual  reader wouldn't
     bother reading the advanced section but it would be there for
     *anyone* who is interested.
