Jan responds: Ming Li, thanks for your response to my
post. Of course you are right; in fact this filter is a
read filter under Read -- it is my typo. Sorry for the
confusion.

Jan responds: Quite right, this is *not* what I want.
However, I was thinking two things when I did that so
let me explain & hopefully you will tell me what I
*should* have done.
First of all, I created this filter both for TBUDL
[where I am *only* known as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"] & I
created it for other folks I correspond with who address
me @ [EMAIL PROTECTED] or my @ alias [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Second, I was under the impression that alternatives
were "or" values as in [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc. while multiple Rules values are
"and" values. Where am I confused?
So what's the better way to accomplish this, please?
Many Thanks, Ming Li.
Sincerely,
Jan Rifkinson
