For me, it was _not_ a joke. The haemorrhage was bloody
serious, And I was *so* happy whenever somebody could lift
my impeding sense of doom with a joke or two. The jokes made
me more human and lerss of a patient.
(Yes, I've recovered fully; but still, a brain bleed *while*
already having multiple sclerosis is a tad much. My
neurologist was quite taken aback. And so was I.)
