AFAIK: F2: check mail for this account, Alt-F2: check mail for all
accounts. Don't know what crtl-F2 does.

That is correct; I assumed you wanted to download all "new" messages
and then delete in TB if unwanted. That's what I do, to save precious
(i.e. expensive) download time.

If you have other criteria which message to download or not, check
whether the Selective Download Filters can help you.
