I haven't got the freeze-ups, but I've noticed with 1.46d that when I
have another program (e.g., Xnews, Opera) open and I'm downloading
messages on TB in a window farther aft on my screen, so to speak, from
time to time the other app, which is on top, will lose focus and I'll
have to click on the window to get it back. This occurs several times
during the download, but not with every message received.
1.46d was the first time I've noticed this, but it may have occurred
in other versions.
Since the pie-chart in the little dialog box that comes up during the
download seems not to get every message (I'm running a P-133 on an
ISDN connection, so this definitely meets the criteria of slow machine
and sorta fast connection), I'm wondering if we haven't got some
escapees from the main message loop wandering around causing mischief.
I'm running Win98, not SE, upgraded from Win95, and I know enough
about Windows programming (i.e., not much) only to be dangerous to
myself and confusing to people who actually do know Windows
programming.
