I really donot know about 98 SE anymore as I have been since 2 months
on 2000 (after making sure my hardware like ideocard could handle it
as a previous attempt left me with no scanner, sound and graphics...
However as mentioned earlier, I went to ME due to 98 problems and it
was worse. After going to 2000 only a few crashes mostly caused by
installing something it didnt like. Like when I installed a program to
read Mac disks... I had expected it to fail but crashes under NT when
they occur can be spectacular and in most cases its so clear what
causes is that first action is to boot into safe mode and remove what
was just put in...
But program crashes, sofar very few...
