Ming-Li, Many thanks for answering my initial post. ML> I would suggest re-installing TB (BTW, it's also a good ML> time to update your Bat to the newest official release ML> 1.46d), and see how it goes. Good. Yes. Thank you. Because of severe time constraints, I won't be able to get to it till early next week, but I will do this, and let you know what happened. ML> If the problem remains, maybe some other system files ML> are damaged. Did your antivirus program provide a log ML> file with all the files it had cleaned? If yes, you may ML> try to replace those infected files with the original ML> (do you have backups?). It was a new program I downloaded specifically for this job, and, yes, there is a report. And, fortunately, my last full system backup was only a week prior to infection. If I can't rectify the problem by reinstalling TB, I will try to replace the infected files with the originals. ML> Otherwise, I don't have better ideas other than ML> restoring every system and program files from backup or ML> reinstalling your system. These are fine suggestions, immediately sensible the instant I saw them, and I will implement them. Thank you for having taken the time to make them. I appreciate it.
