Sorry, Nick! I meant both. In TB you can verify the siganture by Shift-Ctrl-D
which usually means "decrypt encrypted msg". It just works the same way and has
the same effect: You get a window telling you about good/bad signature *and* you
get a "decrypted" copy of the signed message.

That is exactly how I see the thing: AFAICS no sig is affected as the original
message is not changed. Huh, I remember that someone told me, you can't edit the
original message; therefore you can't alter the text and break the sig?!
But may be I'm wrong: it is Friday evening and I'm tired; will have a beer now ;-)
