Hi A. Curtis,

          On Friday, October 27, 2000 13:40:02 -0500 in
reference to "using meta characters & expressions"
          you write:

          [bouvier] Squirrel "on the paw"

ACM> 'setpattregexp' in the regex macro I sent

Yes, I did delete the 'Re:' because I have been
using 'in regards to syntax'. However, the good
news is that I retried the macro & it now works.
Don't ask me what I did differently 'cause I
really don't know but the macro you created is
working flawlessly. I tried it on several eGroup
msg subjects & they all cleaned up so once again I
thank you for extending yourself like this & I
          apologize for the confusion.
