I'm not sure what you mean? My personal preference for the column
layout is:
Subject
Flagging
Message Flags
Parking
Attachments
From
To
Created
Size
Received
You can have a default setting for a given account. Under the folder
properties, select "Use Account default column settings" You need to
do this for all folders. Now change the column settings in any of the
folders where you've enabled this option. This sets the default
settings for the account.
