Ok, I thought you were referring to something more serious
(transmitting files). This is basically the same trick described by
the NY Times article Stefan referred to.
What I don't understand is, if they spam you indirectly (through
spamming a public mailing list), can they acquire your email address
via a http or ftp link? Not from TB, of course, which I know ignore
any such command. Does anyone know if I can implant a web bug in a
html message and get, say, Outlook to tell me the recipient's email
address?
