I played around with the reading confirmation stuff a little.
Auto-save was off the hole time. What makes a difference, though, is
which method of sending the confirmation is used (radio buttons under
the confirmation template).

I used "edit" and that way I got a message editor window where I used
to change some minor text depending on whom the confirmation was sent
to. If one sends this confirmation message the original message is
marked as replied.

When using the two other methods "Send immediately" or "Put in outbox"
the original message is not marked, regardless if you open and edit
the confirmation from the outbox or not. Furthermore when doing it
these ways TB! attaches a file called "message.att" with the following
content:

----snip----
Reporting-UA: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; The Bat! 1.46c
Final-Recipient: rfc822; [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Original-Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Disposition: automatic-action/MDN-sent-manually;displayed
---snip----

When confirming using the "edit" method this file is not attached.
Does anybody know what that is?

Anyway I would prefer TB! not to mark the message as replied even when
using the "edit" option.

so long
Tobias

Using The Bat! 1.46c on Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6

Anything that happens, happens. - Anything that, in happening, causes
something else to happen, causes something else to happen. - Anything
that, in happening, causes itself to happen again, happens again. - It
doesn't necessarily do it in chronological order, though.
