Have pity on the poor listadmins. If we do this, they'll have to check
whether any words used are on the permitted list, respond to requests
to include new words on the list, moderate debates about whether a
particular word should be on the list, send warning messages to people
who use words which aren't on the list, defend themselves from
accusations of censorship, cultural imperialism, ignorance and worse
from people who want to use words which aren't on the list, defend
themselves from the same accusations from people who want to prevent
words which are (or aren't) on the list from being used.

Set against this apocalyptic vision (well, apocalyptic to me, anyway),
I reckon that losing the more delicate nuances of <gnurgh> is a small
price to pay - but then, <gnurgh> isn't my word, so I would, wouldn't
I.
