Hello TBUDL,
I haven't been using Read Filters, so I know little regarding the
way they work. I intend to delete the messages sent by those who
insist on using html on other lists, doing so by filtering on their
email address as sender.
The problem is that all messages for lists go into their own folder,
and incoming filters apparently work ONLY on the inbox, not on
subdirectories. I could use a read filter there, but that would work
only if the message were marked read - or would it?
I made a read filter that has as actions, both mark as read and
delete message. It caught some but not others. The problem isn't
with the incoming mail, it's with cleaning up the mail that's
already filtered to their own directory,
I could do this manually, but want to know more about how TB!
implements read filters. The kill filters don't seem to work for me,
either.
Any suggestions or pointers?
Douglas
