Hello Andrey & others on TBUDL following this thread,

Sunday, January 07, 2001, you stated regarding folder that TB!
apparently deleted, along with an empty one.

AGS> The second vote for upgrading your TB! ASAP.

ASA the new hard drive arrives. Soon, I believe.

AGS> Yes this is the truth. To avoid of moving the inappropriate folder just
AGS> click on it's name, press Alt, wait at least 0.5 sec and then move the
AGS> folder to the location desired.

OK. Good to know.

DH>> At any rate, the folder wouldn't go where I wanted to put it. TB!
DH>> came up w/ a reason (error message that made little sense),

AGS> What was the message text?

Something about not being able to replace something. It didn't make
sense in relation to an empty folder. As stated, I finally WAS able
to delete it.

DH>> When the thing finally deleted (and it had NO + to the left
DH>> of it), it evidently took others that were below (but not
DH>> subordinate to) it (it didn't want to go alone?).

AGS> What are the exact names for the folders TB! accidentally deleted?

I believe they were folders with things from lists relating to
certain computer applications that have periodic newsletters.
Nothing urgent. Also, when a folder is deleted, for some reason TB!
puts you back at the top of the first account, no matter where you
are down the line (of 17 accounts). When that happens, images of
other folders (that aren't present where you are) flash by. So I'm,
not quite sure what was there, just that there were some that now
aren't. I was nearing the end of all alt+<enter> on each folder to
get in and take it off the ticker if necessary, as well as set the
default column setting. There were over two hundred folders, maybe
three hundred.

DH>> That's the motive for this recount: What's the remedy, if any?

AGS> Double check your Trash for the messages originated from the folders
AGS> accidentally deleted; the default TB! behaviour is to move them to
AGS> Trash.

I was wiping out all in trash as I went, but not blindly.

I used Explorer to check all inboxes with subdirectories and in the
best of cases, after TB! brought me back to my first topmost
account, maybe I lost my place and nothing was lost.

In any case, I reckon I can live with it.

IAC, thanks for going over this. If you come up with something else,
give a holler.

shft+ctrl+alt+l tells me 0 folders were found.

What happened was that a folder wound up ABOVE the inbox. so the
question is: Are any aberrations likely when a folder in that
position is deleted. I could make a dummy account w/ a few
subdirectories and recreate this event (another day - this one's
done as far as this thing's concerned).
