Not yet. I have downloaded but not yet installed 7.0.3 but will stick
with 6.5.8 until the new plug-in for TB is ready.

Perhaps you don't understand what this is. "POP before SMTP" is *in
addition* to standard POP and standard SMTP. It is not mandatory but
is an available option for users of servers which *insist* upon it.
Mine doesn't. I don't use it and TB 1.49 works just fine - as it
always did.
