Hey Bat!niks,
I tried. I really have tried. But I have no idea how to tame templates to my needs
(and it looked so simple!).
People send me messages, via an online form, often requesting information from a
drop-down list of *lots* of items. All I wanted to do was make a template which would
look to
see which particular info they were after (in the body of their message to me), and
then incorporate this info (from a text file, I guess) into my reply. Now, I gathered
that I could
make the program somehow search for every possible info request and use an if/or
statement to insert the right text...but can I just grab the text (say 'apple' or
'orange') from the
message and insert 'apple.txt' or 'orange.txt' into my reply? Can someone point me to
a suitable reference or lend a hand, bearing in mind that I have more patience than
techy
knowledge?

Thanking you,
Sebastian
