Another way would be to hide the (stupid) task bar - right click free
space on it, go to "Properties" and check the second box (Win95). I
don't know what MS called in English, translating from German it
should read "Automatic hide" or such. You will then just get it when
you really need it with a move of the mouse to wherever you have your
task bar located.
