Hello Tobias,
TW> I'm using Opera 5.02. When I just doubleclick on a hyperlink in TB
TW> a _new_ window with the URL opens. When I shift-doubleclick _three
TW> new_ windows open. The first contains the URL "http:///nowin", the
TW> second one "http:///e" and the third one finally the actual URL.
Opera is just not like IE or NS. It Multiple Document Interface.
That simple. If you use this nice browser (as I do) you don't
need shift+click at all if you have activated "auto new doc
window" (or something similar) option in Opera. It was one of the
most important reasons for me to switch to Opera 'cause it works
perfectly if you read a kind of The BYTE letter in TB! and opens
the URLs of interest. But as the Opera employs different
mech for open new browser windows one shouldn't expect TB! to
correctly send 'click' and 'shift+click' events to it.
Alternatively you can play with action sets in 'CLASSES' section
of the system registry with action for URL file type. Frankly I
wouldn't suggest to.
Best regards,
