Have you verified that you have that option checked in
Account/Properties/Options? If you do a manual check, does it work?

Not surprising. ;o)  The problem is originating with your Browswer
configurations, and not TB!  Opera in infamous for this kind of behaviour,
or at least that was my short lived experience with the Browser.
Seriously, I don't know what to suggest, other than examining your MailTo:
file associations in Windows Explorer/View/Folder Options.

I think you will find that TB! has in fact decrypted the message... it
would have to in order to verify the signature. What TB! does is create a
new decrypted message with the same subject, so take a look next time you
"Verify" that PGP encrypted message for that newly created decrypted
message.
