Same method - only without leaving IE or even it's net settings -
worked for me some weeks ago.
And I always want to add, to make TB! the default e-mail client for
Opera you don't need to define it especially *if* TB! *is* your system
default. You just check the radio button "Use system default" if Opera
has not chosen so by itself (which it does).
