The mail-client Becky! has a news-reader plugin, that I used exactly for this
purpose (before deciding to switch entirely to Becky for a period). With this
plugin you can set up different Mailboxes for different news-groups - or
different profiles of the same mailbox. It is very easy to save everything in
the unix-mailbox format and import it in TB.
