Hi Marck,
Historians believe that Mon, 7 May 2001 at 11:54 GMT +0100 was when,
Marck D. Pearlstone [MP] typed the following:
<snip>
MP> I would advise against reply templates which include the following
MP> macro but it's okay for New messages.
MP> Define a folder template which includes this:
MP> %TO=""%TO='List members <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>'
I thought this was the worst place to use a %TO macro. If you have
this macro, you're in the folder and you click a mailto link, then the
address gets changed to the list address. By the same token, clicking
on an address in TB does the same.
A better solution is to make an address book entry for the list and
make it a favourite. Then if you click the little down arrow next to
the new message icon, you get a list of your favourites. TB organizes
that menu nicely if you use groups.
