Hello John,
Historians believe that Sat, 12 May 2001 at 10:54 GMT +1000 was when,
John Phillips [JP] typed the following:
JP> Probably been answered before, for which I apologise, but here goes:-
JP> 1. How do I change the reply format from the senders initials to
JP> plain ">"
For all templates use: Account -> Properties -> Templates -> Reply and
choose the style you'd like. For an individual template, you can use
the %QUOTESTYLE macro. For full usage details, check the help file
under: Help -> Help Topics -> Contents -> Message Templates -> The
complete list of Template Macros.
JP> 2. How do I capitalise (such a word?) a sender's name when they use
JP> lower case, and I use the macro to reply to the original sender's
JP> first name? Is there a macro for this? Could not seem to see one
JP> when I pulled down the macro list.
Depends where you're using it. The macro you're looking for is
%CapitalFirst. Again, this is available in the Complete List.
