In  a  time where 30GB only cost about $150?
Where people carry around 250MB zips or similar around with 'em?
Where 2MB downloads take (on slow connections) maybe 5 minutes or so?

What sense would a smaller version make?
And why want to remove features? Just don't use them! :-)

Maybe I'm missing your point?

Actually  all  the stuff on your list is why I bought TB! after just 2
days of using the trial version...
