Sounds bizarre. Bizarre problems with a folder may indicate a message base
corruption.
My only suggestion is to select the folder, go to the folder menu and
choose 'browse deleted messages'. If the deleted messages are there, then
you can restore them, otherwise they are likely gone forever with your
only means of restoring them being from a backup.

TB! is quite a stable product and this is unusual. Are there any problems
