I've had somehow similar problems on couple of w2k boxes a couple
of time. I don't know the reason but now it works decently. The
only suggestion is something like "advanced PPP settings" (donno
how it is in English for I use Russian w2k:( Absolutely no
warranty though:)

PS. W2k's network works great sometimes and sometimes it
doesn't:( The real problem is that I haven't been able to figure
out why:( Just play with the settings and it's quite possible
that it'll improve:)
