Hello,

I'm having a little trouble understanding why certain outgoing filters I
create are working as I want them to, and others, set up in the same way,
are not working.

For instance - I created a folder for this mail list, and within it, I
created an "Inbox" and a "Sent" box. The simple filters for both are
working well. Incoming mail to this list goes to the "Inbox" for this
list, and whenever I send something to this list, a copy is put into the
"Sent" folder within the TBUDL folder. However...

I've set up filters just like that for other mail lists. I just sent a
message to one of those other mail lists, and though the message did show
up in the list's "Inbox" on it's return trip, the "sent" copy seems to
have simply disappeared. It never showed up in the designated "Sent"
folder, nor is it in the parent account's "Sent" folder. It just vanished
as soon as I sent it.

Is there a "foolproof" way to create outgoing filters - so that I can be
sure copies of sent mail will be placed in the proper folders? Is this
vanishing just some sort of occasional bug?

Thanks!

Melissa
