Sorry for the last message, I accidentally hit send before finishing.
In addition, I was writing the message as I continued to debug the problem,
and I suddenly realized what my problem was: I had not been properly
compressing my inbox, and so had over 416MB that was freed up when I
compressed it this time. My performance problems have disappeared, so now I've
gone back and purged and compress all folders and freed up another 500MB+.
Sorry for suggesting any problem with TB!, and I'll just crawl back into my
hole and pretend I figured this out before accidentally bothering everybody.
